BNG's Commtment is Helping Small Businesses Build Strong Foundations

We are a 100% Hispanic, woman-owned consulting company based in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Our mission is to empower businesses at every stage, from launch and planning to ongoing operations and continuous growth. We specialize in guiding small contractors through licensing and minority certifications, OSHA safety training, and back-office support services such as bookkeeping.

Cely Argueta

CEO, BNG Consulting

Cely Argueta is the CEO of BNG Consulting, a boutique, woman-owned firm dedicated to supporting contractors and small businesses. As a bilingual small business consultant, she brings over 15 years of experience working with local, minority-owned businesses to help them access procurement and contracting opportunities at the local, state, and federal levels.

Throughout her career, Cely has provided hands-on consulting and training to hundreds of small businesses in collaboration with regional Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Centers, non-profits, and other business-serving organizations. She has trained minority contractors across a wide range of topics, including:

  • Minority Government Certifications (CBE, MBE, VA SWaM, WOSB, and local/county programs)

  • Proposal and Bid Preparation

  • Business Plan Development

  • Construction Licensing and Permitting

  • How to Start a Business in DC, Maryland, and Virginia

Cely Argueta

Her work focuses on helping minority-owned firms become contract-ready, supporting them through the pre-qualification process for public and private sector opportunities, and enhancing their competitiveness in the marketplace.

Cely also supports program development for construction associations and non-profits in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region, designing training curricula tailored to the needs of emerging minority contractors.

She holds a Master of Public Administration from American University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from The Catholic University of America.

Cely is a connector, advocate, and champion for small business. Along with her team at BNG Consulting, she is committed to helping entrepreneurs start strong, access the right resources, and achieve their vision through purposeful entrepreneurship.
